The Northwestern Dental Center (NDC) is a truly a gem among Chicago clinics. The staff is very personal, kind and welcoming and my dentist, Carol H. Lee, DDS, and dental tech, Maya Hajdo, are very professional, knowledgeable and efficient in their dental care of me. Would highly recommend NDC to anyone who is looking for the best of dental services. Thanks!

I have seen Dr. Patel and hygienist Ray for nearly 10 years. They and other staff in the office work well together and keep each other informed on procedures being done. They have kept me informed of potential issues with existing crowns, etc. and how to best manage care to avoid more serious problems.

Dr Patel and her assistents are wonderful! HOWEVER, the method of accepting payments leaves MUCH to be desired. When I went to pay for my husband's charges (a bill over $1400) there is a small sign telling you there is an additional 3% charge for using a credit card. Like many people, I do not carry my check book with me nor did I have a debit card. NOT ACCEPTABLE. FYI, they also do not accept Zelle.

I rarely offer reviews of professional services; I make an exception here because of unique circumstances. I have undergone radiation for oral cancer, making my jaws very vulnerable. But now I needed not one, but two root canals. I was pretty anxious about possible injury to my jaw — and even more when a couple of friends (separately) told me that root canals are terribly painful, worse than giving birth! I had the procedures done together in one appointment. My endodontist, Dr Patel, explained what he was going to do, and patiently answered all my questions. He then numbed the area and went to work. How relieved I was that everything went smoothly and, just as importantly, painlessly! I assumed that the pain would come later, after the numbing effect was gone — and Dr Patel had given me his phone number for use if I had serious pain. But I am now past the “window of onset of pain” (generally 2-3 days) without any pain — literally none! I’m thoroughly impressed, and very grateful to Dr Patel!

I moved to Chicago a little over a year ago and have been looking for new healthcare providers ever since (daunting in a big city!). I found Northwestern Dental through an Instagram reel and loved the vibe of the office, so I booked an appointment. I am so happy I did! I felt so welcomed and heard by the providers I saw. I will continue to keep coming back to this office!
